Had the saddler out yesterday to confirm my suspicions that Flash had got too fat for his saddle...he's gone up 2 widths in 6 months (as well as growing nearly 2 inches!) So, 2 lots of good news really, luckily I have a bates saddle and can change the gullet (Have ordered the set for the horse of constantly changing shape!), but how easy/difficult is this to do? It looked really straightforward, but generally things are not as easy as they seem!
Secondly (rather pointless addition) I don't need to get another saddle for showing yet, as my retired ponies relatively straight cut GP fits fat boy perfectly
