Changing Passport??

How do I go about changing the owners name in my horse's passport? Its with the shire horse society, do I ring them up, or write?

I'd ring them to clarify with them the fees and that their details haven't changed, much better than an email IMV.

there should be a transfer of ownership form in the passport, fill it out (you will previous owners signiture seem to remember) & send to their offices at EoE showground (i cheated & dropped it in as live very close).
costs vary though. it was £15 for members & £40 for non members (i think, its been a while)
