Channel 4 Dispatches *on now*

I watched it with a heavy heart. The look of trust on those horses in the Irish barn made me cry, the lying and conniving of the meat sellers and the people at the top of the 'food chain' made me mad. None of it was pretty and made me feel fairly depressed.
 
Having watched Dispatches, Panorama and then an hour of penguin chicks being frozen, abducted, eaten, starving or lost, I feel like I need to lie down in a darkened room. Emotionally draining or what?!
