Just seen this on the bbc news website, this horse is so lucky to have only got away with only slight injuries, poor thing must've been petrified

What a shame for the horse, and what a crashing fall, bet that hasn't done its sacroilliac much good. And was the bloke crossing the zebra crossing blind or just plain stupid?

Have just watched the video through MSN but don't have sound on my pc. Poor thing bless it must have been petrified

I saw the fall too and it looked nasty, especially on a hard surface like a road. Bet it's a bit jarred up at the least after the fall and galloping like that on those roads. If it was the same horse in the box at the end it had a bleeding nose too, so not sure it that was from the fall or broken blood vessels as I know exertion on hard surfaces can increase the chances of horses getting them.

wow, scarey stuff to watch, i came off my mare once, in a park after a mastiff started to chase her, shes fearful of dogs after being attacked when she was younger, & she bolted, i had the petrifying experience of watching my horse bolt out of the park & down 2 main roads before she was caught! That horse is certainly lucky not to have been hit by a car going through a main city like that!!
