Hi, I wondered if anyone had used this particular son of Cassini I and if so, what his foals were like this year? I am not wanting a critique of the stallion himself, as he is not mine. I would however be very interested in hearing about the foals he has produced, pictures would be great - as I am considering him for one of my mares next year.
Thank you

Yes i saw a foal sold at brightwells sale in august, it was stunning, think it made 3rd top price... over £7000 i think. Beautiful type and presence. I think there is some pictures on the meadow stud website of the foal... www.meadowstud.com but have heard on the grapevine that the foals have all been a super type, i am considering using him myself on my jumping mare by Clinton.

That's wonderful news thank you

I am not breeding the baby to sell as I am trying to develop my own stud. My mare is by Cardino/Lord and is already in foal to another son of Cassini I. I do like the look of this boy though and I have a real love of greys.
I did not realise there were photos of the foals on there so will go see, thank you again for taking the time to reply

Another HUGE Chaos fan here, and I will be using him next year on my Sandro mare. I also saw his foal at the Brightwells auction, apparently it is nick named Little Miss Perfect.

His pedigree is just as impressive as he is in the flesh

I think I am correct in saying that he is homozygous for grey, which suits me as Claire just loves her grey babies

That's great news. I only stumbled upon him by accident yesterday as I was trying to find Capitol I and found Meadow Stud via that search.

I have now seen the photo of the filly and she is indeed lovely.

I am also considering using him next year for my Metall mare. 3 friends of mine all ended up using him last year, none of them intended to, but as all 3 had problems with getting semen, semen quality etc from other stallions via chilled from down south, they all on the advise of another friend went to see him last minute as the stud is only local to us. We all loved him, my mare was unfortunately in foal already but awaiting the foal from my friends mares and very inclined to go see him next year!

As far as the foals on the ground go, when I tagged along with them to go and see Chaos there were 3 of his foals at the stud, they were all stunning, and all with temperament just like him, im pretty sure the one from the sales that made 7k was one of the ones we saw that day.

thank you all for the wonderful feedback. It has really helped me in this as you cannot possibly visit every stallion you have an interest in. I will give them a call tomorrow

I very much look forward to seeing the foals arriving from this year's group too.
I am very excited now as that is both of my mares married off for next year. The other is engaged to a rather dashing young redhead that we all know and love.
