Chap extenders

Does anyone know where I might find these in the UK for riding chaps? I have found these in the US or motorcycles ones.

I guess I could also just make a pair - has anyone done this?

Don't you have a local tack repair person who could do that easily or an old fashioned cobbler?

I think so long as you know the make of zip you have and the size it is, then you could ask a saddler (or even do it yourself if you have an appropriate sewing machine/needle) It all hinges on the zip teeth matching so I would suggest try to get the same brand. If you can't find the right brand you could always ask the boot manufacturer if they could sell you a pair of zips.

HAHA, yes flicker, I got some interesting results when I typed in extenders - especially when I was looking for girth ones!

These would be interesting for me, as I have bought some gorgeous brand new gaiters off ebay however 13-14 inch calf, they are brand new so really tight, and I think I am really 15inch calf so rather than selling these would be ideal, although not sure how they would look for real once on?
