My everyday long boots died a couple of months ago - I swithered about getting a new pair - something like the Toggi Calgary boots. I found a pair of Dublin jodphur boots that I'd forgotten I even had - they are in good nick - nearly new actually so I'm going to go use them for now. I have the Dublin leather chaps with them too but they are not comfy for everyday use - quite stiff and bulky.

Can anyone recommend any decent chaps/gaiters for every day use - they need to be quite sturdy - I had an old pair of shires ones years ago but found the stitching would unravel really easily. Also need to be available in larger sizes as I have larger than average calves.

Any suggestions?

for more rigid gaiters I have the tuffa ones which i love - i use them for comps though. They come in loads of different sizes. I use the suede shires ones day to day and theyve been ok for the price.

Fuller Fillies do a wide range of sizes and styles.
Also - Caveletti Clothing do a mtm option in both chaps and gaiters. I've got the chaps (pre Fuller Fillies :D) and they are amazing. Very well made, extremely good quality. 10 years old now and looking pretty good
