Charges for vets prescriptions

Hi, Just a quick one. How much does your vets charge to write a prescription? Just wondered as I finally decided to get one for my prascend and they charged me £20.

think I pay £12 for the dogs script for Vetmedin X.. but it's cleared for 6 mths, so I can have 6 mths supply under one script!

I pay £12 for a prescription for Prascend from an equine vet.
I do know my vet charges £20 per prescription for large animals - cattle etc.
May be worth checking they're charging for domestic pet rates - Greedy bu99ers

£12 aprox is about normal but it is per item and its usually more expensive for a 1st prescription that a repeat prescription.

I think its 10 for 1st one and 5 thereafter

Thanks for all your replies everyone. I will see if my repeat prescription is cheaper. The £20 one lasts until the end of april. It was supposed to be for three months but is actually only two and a half months as I collected it on 14th Feb and they dated 30th april. They also put on it a 60 pack so I can only get 60 instead of 160.
