Hi everyone.
I need some advice please, re: rent for land.
I rent out a field / access to other fields to a friend and her horse. No contract, just relaxed. She uses the stable whenever she needs to (the deal was sometimes but not so regularly) and also uses the tack room / land for her stuff. Uses our trailer once a week.
There is opportunity for another horse to join hers, but the plan would be outside grasping only.
They want a field shelter to be built but we can’t afford that.
What do I charge per week? Currently she is paying £25, but that was before extra stable use and trailer use.
What do I charge / do, going forward?
We are in Kinross-shire, with good grazing, constant up keep of gates / fences, and constant water delivered to each field.
