Hoping you have a good day with lots of people attending, Lexie not only will it be good for Dex it will keep you in good trim too, a bonus.:D

I wont be attending sorry to say, too far away.

So we went we walked, and dex was erm ok LOL Such an odd dog, walking along, mingling nicely with Dogs of all shapes and sizes that he has never met before- (lots of slopey backed cripples!!!!! GORGEOUS), but still sees a dog coming the other way and has to kick off trying to get to it----- frigging wierdo!!

We raised just over £700 too which was cool.

Well done all of you for raising a lot of money, hope the weather was kind and Dex well Dex just had to keep you on your toes.:D dont want you getting complacent.:D

How is the agility going and have you been on that training course yet.?

Agility has been put on the back burner for now (pennies related), but he went to dog communication the other week and they said hes not aggressive, just over excited- annoyingly as i knew this already, and that he reads other dogs really well, and listens, but hes a decent sized dog, with big jaws so they want to do a few 1-2-1's with their dogs to be sure he will stop doing anything bad if they tell him too- 1st one is this weekend.

These things are really expensive, we are on week 4 of a 6week course on starters agility which is really good(it is £50) but wont be able to start the beginners until after Xmas. I have to start saving for another car mine will not get through another MOT.

It must be frustrating to be told what you already know about Dex but to be fair they have to make sure he is ok. I cant wait to hear about your course I would love to see what they do. Dex is going to be really good and cant wait to meet him at the next AAD meet up.

Well I can tell you how his assessment went.... their dogs are interesting to work with- but you cant force dogs to interact!!

Problem with dex and agility is he cant go to a group session so looking at £25 a time!!

There are 4 dogs on our course which includes my friends springer, its held in an outdoor arena and at the top half is another class with about 8 dogs who are more advanced.

The first lessen a dog from the top class came down and kept having a go at Darcy just barking in her face but she just ignored it. When you think she used to be fear aggressive I was so proud of her for her non action.

I have often said that Dex needs a good hoon around the field with my 2 and if he got too much for them they would just outrun him, he sounds like he is just an over excited dog who just wants to run and play and is just a bit vocal with it.:D Its very difficult to teach a dog self control which I think is your main goal but he needs that hooning around to keep him sane.

Yep- he defo does love a hoon, finding a field has been a godsend but has no playmates- the dogs we walk with are not players unfortunately....... You'll be taking this back when we land on your doorstep!!
