I have a Charles Mountford dressage saddle which I love. I've had it 28yrs and it is still lovely to ride in, is in brilliant condition and I'm so glad I've hung onto it until I had another horse it fitted. I have 6 saddles and it is my favourite.
As with all older design saddles watch for the gullet width at the back, they can be very narrow, you need three fingers (sometimes 2.5) for most ponies.
I have one, although it doesn't fit my current horse. I will never sell it though, it's a beautiful saddle and was my old mare's saddle, Very comfortable, and the leather is fantastic!
