Charles Owen kids sizing?

Need a new Charles Owen skullcap - there’s a stark difference in the pricing between adult and young rider pricing and the sizing goes up to my size. I’m just wondering if the shape, etc is different or something? I know there’s a disclaimer that it’s made for a child’s head. Has anyone tried them before - just want to know if I could chance it!!

I have always worn kids hats and I have always read that the only difference between a size 1.5 child's and a size 1.5 adults is the cartoons in the lining and the VAT.

As YCBM says. I have usually bought Champion hats, but always the kids ones for the cheaper price. Sometimes the outside design is slightly different, but no one has ever noticed that I'm wearing a 'child's' hat. I was told on a Champion trade stand a few years ago that there is absolutely no difference other than the lining/outer design.

I have a kids Charles Owen hat. I have a pea head (but a large brain, obviously )

Mines a Kids CO skullcap ! Only difference is the straps, which are cheaper and slightly smaller (nylon webbing as opposed leather on adults hat)

Edit - cant speak for the contents of the hat (designed for child impact? Im not massive so hope fine - feels an upgrade from the adjustable one that suffered a couple of falls it replaced anyhow)
