I see according to the hotline they are not running it the intermediate this year. I guess the wet weather put paid to course building - what a shame. Guess if I have to miss the rest of the season picked a pretty good year.

I guess they are not going to lose out on revenue as such a popular event.
Thank god they are still running the N on Sunday. Cannot do Saturday due to lovely work. Really hope its not cancelled. It tipped down last year I remember getting soaked.

It is one of my favorites vagually wondering if I could get fit but now think I will just rule out the rest of the season and aim for Portugal at the beginning of next year.

My other half is having someone from Ilfracombe come over to treat his broken heel, and it's healing much quicker. That may be nearer to you than us...she's very good.
He has also used a magnet down his plaster and researched the net widely, the latest findings seem to say treat a horse rider like an athlete and get them moving asap, unlike the ordinary person who isn't as fit.
He has his plaster off now and threw away the heavy space boot thing, is wearing first boots with ankle support then ordinary riding boots and is back hacking again.
He can't school as it hurts, or do much rising trot, but he can ride which is all he is bothered about.
If you want to get fit quicker read up on the latest info, and start moving as much as you can after a few weeks, onc ethe bone is set (in his case scewed and plated) it's a case of getting the movement back.

OH GUTTED! I was really looking forward to riding the intermediate - the other courses are lovely and bold and attacking. They had WOMAD there this year - World of Music and Dance with over 100,000 people over 4 days - bet the hippies trashed the ground and new jumps - hence cancellation.

Hopefully this year Eric Winter will change the courses a bit more - hes a great designer but last year didnt really alter the track. More bold in second year?
