Has anyone bought any Charnwood linseed recently? My new bag has come in clear packaging with no writing on at all and a different BN number on the paper label. Normally the bags are white with lots of writing on! Just want to make sure I’ve been sent the one I want.

The charnwood bags I bought were always white with writing.

I did buy some clear bags but they were own/no brand linseed. However I was led to believe that all micronised linseed was coming from the same factory.

FWIW I use British Horse Feeds linseed now. Cheaper and easy to get at the local feed stores

I got some recently and the same packaging as before, white bag with Charnwood.

Some other companies cook it but they don't use the same process as Charnwood and the starch levels are different. Look for the spelling and the trademark micronized® for Charnwood.

I know some companies have had packaging issues either due to Covid or Brexit. For awhile last year Keyflow pink mash came in a white bag although they did have a stapled on label explaining why.
