Looks as if Chatsworth could be a great event this year - most of the top riders who withdrew from Badminton look as if they are hoping to run their Badminton horse there instead...

And being further north, chances are, the ground might be reasonable by next weekend.
 
Got a leaflet about it today, considering going and its not too expensive either.
Depends if I make it out of bed after heavy night next sat

Nah dont bank on the ground hun! I live 15 mins away & the ground is completely poached! However we do have a lot of rain forecast for this week so we might be lucky!
 
Excellent, THE most beautiful setting, lovely tradestands prob about 100 and then the main ring and another attraction ring too!
 
We went last year and it was great. Get to see eveything in one day and the XC has some pretty tricky jumps, the water jumps were fantastic. We saw some really great riding and
the surroundings are wonderful. Take some seats though as there wasn't many to go round for the SJ.
Lets just hope it rains!!

Ahh man it sounds fab, i really want to go as did not manage to go to baddminton either, BUT i live in wales and will take forever to get up there its so far from me..
