Chatterhappy Ponys

Glad im not the only one who liked it! Yeah their adventures were so fun, even though sometimes a little bit unrealistic - ie when Sparkey was at that big major international show and the camera tried to make out she was jumping a HUGE wall! he he
Great series though - Did hear the ponies were stabled at Wellington Ring school but not 100% sure

We were just talking about Chatterhappy ponies at dinner tonight! I used to love it and fell in love with sparky!:p

I meant to write 'Riding School' - not Ring school lol

Yeah loved Sparkey, though I think my fave was Trigger, mind you Strop did make me laugh at the way he took his own head collar off!

I loved this as a child, there is an episode on you tube ;)

Strop was my favourite probably because he's like me! Also liked Daisey's Birmingham accent!

Kids tv nowadays is nowhere near as good!

Yes ponies were at wellington. I used to go there on pony holidays and they were always in the lessons. Trigger was absolutely tiny :) I imagine they are long gone now as that was a good 15 years ago and I don't think they were spring chickens, but I can't be sure :)

Ps they looked nothing like they did on telly - they were immaculate on telly and scruffy mucky unrecognisable little things in real life!! Also do you remember in the old horse and pony mag all the photo stories? They did quite a few of those at Wellington too, I remember a little pony called sparrow being in them

I used to watch them with my daughter, we had the videos...maybe still have them somewhere???? We also liked The Stables, and have visited Stepney Bank as we have in-laws in Newcastle...loved the Geordie accent pooper-scooper:D

I used to watch chatterhappy and the animals of farthing wood with my daughter, only problem was she was a baby, but that was a good enough excuse for me to be able to watch kids tv ;-)

We had these videos too. Loved the Show jumper, Nick Clearembyamile ! Great name!

And the mother in her convertible

Sad my girls ahve grown up and don't want to watch them anymore

Hehe I used to love it :D:D

Especially the one where Sparky went show jumping and had to win the money and beat the big snooty horse... Wellington I think he was called!!?? :D:p

Need to find a DVD of the stables as my friend Paul was one of the instructors in it. He's never lived it down! Lol. Any ideas where I could find one?

I took the plunge and emailed wellington riding and this what was said.

"Hi,
Unfortunately, after a long retirement at home with Nereide Goodman, we lost the last of the Chatterhappy’s – Daisy – a couple of years ago, but they all lived well into their late twenties, I think Daisy was in her early 30’s in fact."

RIP Chatterhappy ponies :(
