Gotta get myself a nice snaffle cavesson asap - must be black and a nice looking bridle.

Had my elevator bridle stolen and really can't afford to replace.

To save me trawling the internet, have any of you found any bargains lately?

Also want some good quality rubber reins........

Thanks guys x

Good old ebay, I picked up a brand new one for a fiver - not the most fantastic quality but for leaving on the yard I am really pleased with it.

Another vote for a Hertitage here too, although mine isnt a comfort - might have to go and have a look now Ill blame B&J for that

The Rhinegold looks a little better quality but not sure.

Infact, I can't believe I paid £200 (inc eventer reins) for my elevator when it looks the bloody same!

I have got the Rhinegold Comfort Bridle, got it from your horse live for £60.

Its excellent and keeps its self clean!

I have another cheap bridle in the garage that has things growing from it

However my Rhinegold looks like new!
And when it is clean it looks really nice and the leather is nice and soft.

Sorry, but i'm of the opinion that you get what you pay for!!
I bought a Heritage Comfort bridle at a christmas fair, (£60 ish) and when i got it home, the fit of it was all wrong!!! i would use it as a yard bridle, but not as a smart show one (who's going to spend £60 on a yard bridle)..

So, having had one of the £200 jobbies, my guess is that when you buy one of these cheap ones, you'll notice the difference in quality/fit!!!
I've now forked out £150 for the most beautifull bridle ever!!

As said, you get what you pay for.

Got a heritage bridle for £50 from frogpool..dont like buckles so bought billet cheekpieces but a year on its still fantastic. Leather is nicer than some GFS ranges and softer than Stubben could ever hope to be! I have cob size which fits a 16.3hh+ TB/Hols..

Not always, I paid literally 4 times as much for my Whitaker and my Stubben Bridles, but prefer the Rhinegold one I just paid £30 for. It is a fantastic fit, great quality and soft. Have'nt seen the Heratige ones in real life.
