Cheap controller headcollars

I have a short term need for a for a controller style head collar due to headstrong cob taking advantage of my broken wrist and less control, can anyone point me in the direction of a cheap and cheerful solution... don't really want to spend £30 when hopefully it won't be needed long term.

I would recommend the dually (monty roberts) headcollar, i think it is around £40 ish but definately worth the money! Speedy Recovery for your wrist x

Ditto the Dually recommendation. If you're not wanting to spend that much, try getting a second hand one on ebay! Seriously the best bit of kit for a bargy cob (or mannerless warmblood for that matter!). Hope the wrist mends soon.

Do the natural horsemanship halters work in the same way as the dually? they seem to be a lot cheaper on ebay?

I know they are more expensive but dually halter is worth its weight in gold (for no longer bargy won't load welsh D X). You can resell it on e-bay if you no longer need it and probably make most of the cost back

Either a Chifney or the Libbys rope controller halter, or a chain leadrope round the nose.
