Cheap/Free rubber matting anyone?

I was just wondering if anyone has/knows of people with any cheap/free rubber matting going as I need some for my two horses as I think I'd benefit from using less shavings! Please let me know, thanks

hmmm i would doubt you would get it for free, it cost me over £300 for mine! you could try preloved?

I know, I put that up just in case people were generous enough! I can't really afford new matting plus the fitting so would rather have used until I can afford it. Thanks, will try looking there.

you could also try asking around local yards, if we have anything for sale we tend to put it on our notice board there. It wouldnt harm to ask.... i really like my matting,as i use less straw and it stops my horse slipping (she wees everywhere!) the down sides are that they do really smell - prob not the best if you dont have adequate ventilation and they do need washed.....i wouldnt be without them tho x

ps. my boyfriend fitted mine, just used a stanley knife. They are extremely heavy tho so you do need someone with muscles!
