I have two little boys 2 yr old and 3 yr old although clothes sizes they are both about 4 yr old, they both ride our little welsh mare and they love it we dont do anything serious but they do like wearing their joddies and boots the problem I have is finding cheap(as they grow so quickly, boy themed riding clothes.
Vodka and cherry coke(my new fave drink) and dairy milk to anyone with any ideas or any HHO's out there who also have growing boys who want someone to buy their cast offs.

www.derbyhouse.co.uk and www.robinsons-uk.com both have huge sales just now with really cheap stuff

my boys are a lot younger (18 months) but i've been looking around for boys riding clothes and there really isnt much choice is there!

To make matters worse, as they twins were premature, they are tiny considering their ages, so for example, they still fit in 3-6month old clothes for some brands!

If you had any tinyyyy cast offs i could be interested.

Just wait till they get older. Our boys are 9 and 11 and it is a struggle to get them kitted out. Once they go out of unisex kids stuff, there are plenty of girls stuff (eg maids jackets), but just try finding boys stuff.

Well you certainly live in the right place. What's wrong with getting some cheap Joddies ect from Derby Market?? I can't think of anywhere cheaper unless you buy second hand. Might be worth looking in Ad-Mag

i have a 6 year old son who rides...and like you and many others with young male riders i also found it hard to find boys riding gear, but i got most of his gear off ebay and just been given some show/tweed jackets which are a tad too big atm
i do have a small pair of jod and some second hand jodphur boots or two if your interested..pm me

I have 2 boys, and tend to get most of their stuff from Scats. I learnt long ago to get their boots at least a size bigger than they need them - they don't walk for miles in them and it doesn't make that much difference for riding at that age! They are the only piece of footwear that they wear out before they grow out of! What a cruel mother I am!!
