Cheap Saddle

Ok - have not got lot of cash... already got a dispute on ebay for non receipt of wintec saddle!!! argh so £100 down


Need a cheap saddle for a couple of months - what is my best option - can see loads on ebay etc, northumbrian, gallop etc etc
Anyone got any experience of these at all.....

Really desperate as my friend wants her GP Albion back - currently using on my boy!!!
 
Regardless of what make you buy / use you should get them fitted / checked by a SMS Fitter. I understand the situation you are in, but at the end of the day it could damage you horses back for life, and make it behave dangerously - you only get what you pay for.

If i was you i would look for a secondhand wintec or thorowgood that has a bit of adjustment (and get it properly fitted as soon as you have some more dollar), try ad trader and the other equine sales sites and have a trawl through google.
 
Have you tried "the tack room" at Tillyochie house near Kinross?
They have quite a lot of secondhand stuff and have some synthetic saddles in at the moment.
 
I have a 16.5'' wintec 500GP with a couple of gullets that I have no need for...PM me if you wish to discuss further

Hi have PM'd you regarding an almost new wintec, not the basic 500, a really nice one and cheap as a quick sale would help the holiday fund!!

i bought a gallop one from ebay once when i was looking for a cheap once whilst neddy filled out a bit more.... you get what you pay for, it was cheap and it looked it...leather quialty wasnt good it looked to be a strange shape and i swiftly passed it on to another livery on the yard
