As title really, I'd like to try my mare with a mirror as she'll be in on her own for a bit at her new yard. I don't want to spend a fortune though in case she takes an aversion to it. I've seen them on eBay for about a tenner and wondered if they are actually usable or whether I should bite the bullet and fork out a bit more? Also, how adhesive are they? I really wouldn't want it falling down on her in the night. Ahhh!!!

Yes I bought a safety plastic mirror on Amazon for around twenty quid I think.it's A3 size and has a sticky back but oh also screwed it in place to be sure. It's in our lorry and horsey definitely likes it.

I was looking at the roles of sticky mirror stuff on ebay, they looked quite good but wasn't sure about them. they are really cheap so I might give them ago as my horses have to come in this year for the first time in 12 yrs, and they are not happy about it!! so ill watch this post with interest :)

I got mine online from Amigo Stable Mirrors. It wasnt very different in price to those on ebay and I had could be confident that it would be safe (ie not shatter / break). It arrived very quickly too.

I recently bought a piece of mirrored Perspex from a plastics company directly cut to my exact measurements and it only cost about £15 for a piece about A2 size, can't find the name of the company, sorry.
