Cheap towing vehicle needed!

Afternoon all,

I'm planning on getting myself a car sometime fairly soon but would ideally like something that I can also tow with. However i'm fairly broke, a student who intends to be a journalist is never going 2 have much money (!), so will be looking for something second hand. Needs 2 b fairly gd on fuel as well ... oh and cheap on insurance as i'm a young MALE driver ...

I have a Kia Sorento, probably not the cheapest to buy as they seem to hold their velue but they are fantastic on fuel and tow really well, also have quite a large payload

Good luck with that!
I have been looking for similar but have found sadly that anything with an engine big enough to tow safely is going to be pretty thirsty and expensive to tax and insure. And I am not a young male either!
My latest plan is to trade my car in for a push bike for day to day journeys and a 3.5 tonne horsebox for horse outings and supermarket trips!
