Just bought a treeless saddle for no withered pony. Can anyone suggest a treeless saddle pad that gives good spine clearance that doesnt cost the earth?!

I've successfully used a PolyPad with a Torsion for a year, including a 25 mile ride with no problems on my Arab.

My favourite 'proper pad' is the Equitex. I bought it for £85 and it's been my staple with many different saddles for 10 years now.

I know you are asking for help but I wondered how you are getting on with your saddle. I posted on here a while a go asking how people find treeless saddle and got no replies:( Pooor me lol) I have a keifer but really want to trade it in for a treeless. How much did you pay? Do you know the pro's and con's of them compared to a saddle with a tree? So to gate crash!

claribella - I have a more 'normal' looking treeless (doesn't need any sort of pads, just a normal numnah!), I've got the Fhoenix Vogue dressage. I tried a friends over xmas & bought my own, secondhand, a week ago. It is lovely! Very comfortable, puts me in the correct position but isn't painful :p Very easy to ride in. Extra bonus? After 2-3 days of using it, my gelding who was flinching previously when I approached him with a saddle was perfectly happy to be saddled & girthed up, and much less moody about being ridden! :)
