cheaper alternative to amerigo girth?

I am having great problems with my poor horse getting rubbed by his girths, I have seen one on ebay that looks like it would help but it is nearly £200
I wondered if anyone knew of another make that was the same shape but cheaper?

I don't think he can cope with the width of some girths and I have tried aerborn comfort, standard cottage craft cotton and neoprene girths all to no avail.
