Cheaper alternative to Smart Tails rake?

As I am a bit of a cheap skate! Has anyone used one of these as a cheaper alternative? And would you recommend the 12 or 16 short blade one?

You could just use a mane comb and do it manually

Lots of them on e-bay, look in the dog section. Start at £7.99. So cheap I bought two widths so I didn't save any money!

It's for a tail only_me, mare wouldn't like having her tail pulled properly.

16 if fine hair, 12 if coarse hair.

Lol ah ok, I use a standard mane comb to pull tails too But not nice to use if horse dosent like it
