My horse has suspected SI damage, and has been having yearly cartrophen injections, which keep him sound, but at £60 a shot, plus call out, it costs me nearly £350.

I really cannot afford to keep doing it for thenext 10 years, I have paid more in vet fee's than I paid for him

Does anyone use any kind of 'no bute' / devils claw / dandelion (or what ever it is?)?

He has Suppleaze gold joint supplement with his food.

Thank you

Cartrophen helps with Jacob's coffin joint issues but Suppleze gold made zero difference

i am using cosequin to greater effect but thats a similar price to the cartrophen...

I use cartropthen for spavins, i inject myself so no need for call out (vet showed me how and have had no problems he said that was a reg thing that he showed the client how to do it so they didnt have to pay call outs all the time and get a prescription for viovets.co.uk and they are £43
