Who does everyone insure their foals with? The cheapest i can find is £25... I thought that was quite expensive for something just sitting in a field?

you wont get much cover for that I am not sure that would include liability cover which to me would be more important than anything. not E&L by any chance!

Cheapest is not the best policy when insuring foals; you want the most reliable as they are a high risk category and for me, that's KBIS every time. I think Merlin's is about £300 for £2000 and vet cover, cheap for the peace of mind for me.
ps: I have PL through BHS membership which cuts it down a lot, well worth that cost especially as it covers all your horses.

That's the cheapest I could find for my 6 month old colt as well, that was with KBIS who I have heard are fantastic
