Any suggestions please folk?

Needs to be safe and secure, and tracked.

Seller and buyer both UK based so no international issues.

I was going to use the Post Office, only it's a Premier Equine Turnout with neck - not the lightest of things 🤔

Have a look on Parcel Monkey for your options. I do that and go with whichever is cheaper including the extra insurance. I did have to make a claim for a lost rug once and it was quick and straightforward.

Thank you both.

Had a bit of faff with RM. Yodel and Evri have been surprisingly good for ages now. I've checked with the buyer and they're good there as well, plus I like the delivery folk here so happy to give them more business.

Off to pack the thing up! Am hoping the hay weigh scales will be accurate enough 🤔

I use evri- I know they get slated, but I’ve never had a problem. They are cheaper and insured, so worst case, you can claim if it goes wrong.
I do like Evri but have you ever tried claiming?
It’s virtually impossible if you do have a problem which admittedly these days 99% of the time i don’t.
There is no way to talk to anyone real and the auto systems send you round in circles.
I’ve lost two rugs and not had the compensation I had paid for and once they delivered to totally the wrong address I the wrong area.

Our evri delivery person is crap, claims to have delivered when they haven't, sends pics of the parcel clearly still in the van as proof of delivery, or of random bits of wall that could be anywhere. I actively avoid buying anything that's using them as a delivery service, although I appreciate it's potentially a very localised problem...

I used Evri for my very heavy 6’9” Rambo Supreme 450g turnout just before Christmas a couple of years ago. It was sent to a very posh address in London, and it arrived safely and promptly.

I did check beforehand with the purchaser if Evri was acceptable to them, and it was. Evri’s good here.
