is thickening around the ligament in the area where the injury was normal?
My horse suffered a sligh sprain in her off fore just below the back of the knee last July. Our vet scanned it and put her on box rest followed by a programme of walk inhand followed by ridden work built up slowly over 6 months.
The area where the injury was has thickened and i can feel a hard slightly enlarged area there compared to her other leg. It doesn't change with exercise or rest, she's not tender or lame and there's no heat.
Haven't any experience of this sort of injury before so would appreciate some advice from anyone who's come across similar
