I think she actually has "bighead syndrome". A lack of calcium in her diet growing up.

At 3 yo, with a correct diet, her body MAY catch up but it's unlikely and she will be very weak.

I'd expect it from one of my lot.. My purebred CB lads have similar noses, but in proportion to their bodies

I'd snatch her up.. Her nose would fit in at my yard whilst the rest of her tries to catch up

Think it is made worse by the noseband certainly not a good photo i agree with one of the previous comments that she may be just rising 3 she may fill into it a little dont think she ever going to be the prettiest of horses but she looks sweet poor wee soul.

I think the position of the nose band and the angle of the photo is accentuating her profile unfortunately.
But for goodness sake, get that fat woman off her back.

Nice horse, shame about the owner. It could be a cracker with good nutrition, good farriery and a non obese rider more appropriate to its condition and maturity.

Looks a bit like a Kladruber in the nose department, wouldn't worry me at all, but her front legs would. She will probably grow into a fine strapping harness type horse.

I would snap her up in a heartbeat - she has a very kind eye. Ugly Ducklings are always the best.

So very sad - she's got a tiny frame, with a huge lump sat on her.

to be honest, i agree that this horse shouldn't be backed by such a hevay person at such a young age but in my eyes every horse is beautiful and yes she has a roman nose, but there are worse out the so its not the end of the world

Don't care about her head. It's the condition and the backer. I'm sorry if that isn't PC but that mare does not have the frame or age to carry her. Needs condition and time to mature.

i read somewhere that horses with roman noses are considered to be very strong and thats why most draught horses have them and maybe if she is strong, she needs a heavier and stronger rider to control her but i still disagree with they way they those chucked that lump on that poor animals back
