Hi, my horse was kicked badly on tuesday which has resulted in two vets visits so far, pain killers, and another visit to come with xrays for which hopefully is not a fractured leg!
I called my insurance company KBIS and found out my excess is £275! which is way more than I thought and even the vet said that's high, also found out that he is'nt covered for livery costs if he has to go to hospital, I suppose I cant really blame KBIS it was upto me to check the small print, but im annoyed about the livery costs as i did ask for full cover and max vets bill cover.
So if you were like me and just paid for your insurance, have a good look now at the small print, I much rather would of payed a few quid more a month to get what I consider full vets cover and a lower excess!
