My cunning plan for the winter has gone slightly wrong due to an unexpected mare in foal so I was wondering if anyone could help me.
I have a 14.2hh yearling gelding who needs to be turned out this winter and I was going to turn him out with my mare but as she is now going to have a foal she obviously can't keep him company. So, I am desperately seeking anyone who has one or some youngsters turned out for the winter and could possibly for a fee accommodate one more. He is very peaceful and easy and has been out with mares and geldings and has never caused any trouble with. He doesn't respect electric if it is not on but is fine if it is and hasn't escaped once over the summer. He is part pony so can easily live out full time but does have a rug if needed.
I am in Somerset but would happily travel to turn him out. I am sorry if this seems rather a cheeky ask but I would pay for his keep and hay. I just simply have nowhere to turn him out with a friend.
