I had an old saddle on ebay a couple of weeks ago which didn't quite make the reserve price, so I have just logged back on to ebay and re-listed it. Having done so, I thought I'd see if there were any similar older saddles on there - and low and behold some cheeky moo has stolen my description almost word for word

This is my advert which I re-listed exactly how I had posed it originally: Mine

and this is theres: Theres

Now I admit to utilising other peoples description, but I usually at least take the time to change them so they don't appear to be identical !

You can report it and have it removed. It would not be fair to any prospective purchaser because the saddle they would be buying would not be as described.

Ebay are quite good at removing stolen photos, descriptions etc.

LOL I sold a dress once to a girl, who had bought it in a bigger size, and it then didnt fit..... she then relisted the dress with my exact ad, INC my picture!!! Cheeky moo!

I once sold something, someone cottoned on that I was making a decent amount of money and started selling exactly the same item, nicked my description word for word, same font and colours, and even had the cheek to nick my photos

They got reported to ebay

Same happened to my brother, he was selling a mobile phone and they used his photo's. He contacted the seller directly, who removed the pics immediately. Although contact E-bay directly, they'll do it for you as per comments in previous posts
