If the photo had been taken from down at its level, I think it might be quite nice. The foreshortening from taking it higher up is making it look the wrong shape. Agree about blacking in the eye. I see similar size ones of other breeds in a garden centre for sale and they are quite realistic.

£5k for an OTTB that’s done a bit of schooling at home (not been out by the looks of it) with the a cataract and has failed the vet anyone?

Can’t understand why you wouldn’t get it removed if it’s as harmless as they say?!

Because it would cost several thousand to do it, which they probably don't have.

Stupid price they're asking, though.

What the hell 😳

Tbf I’d want more details on that one, it’s the vet help page and it’s not unusual to have people who literally have no access to vets on there, 500 miles + away from help. I’m always a bit horrified at those questions, but if you’ve got no other source of help, I guess it’s better than nothing…

Just dropping this here. Not cheeky or ridiculous, just hilarious and very honest!

Considering letting bellend go on loan, short or long term.
Approx 12.3 Welsh gelding.
If you want an innocent saint of a pony he’s not for you. He’s a temperamental shite with little man syndrome!
9/10 lovely on the ground but can have off days where he’s a rude.
Under saddle if he thinks your an idiot he will treat you like one, when he’s being good he’s a lazy kick type which could easily fool anyone but he’s a nappy shite when he wants to be and will be on his back legs. When he was in work he did get out of it but I know Benny and know there’s a 99.9% chance of it happening again 😂
He also fails to realise he’s not got his 🥜 so if there’s a mare he likes he will mount it 😂 otherwise a good companion.
I love this pony and think he’s hilarious but am well aware he’s far from everyone’s cup of tea.

Just seen an add for a 2 yo filly on facebook where they've felt the need to say the horse is fed every day in the text. I think they've probably already had comments on how thin she looks. I wouldn't be surprised, she makes my 26yo look fat. I wouldn't want her, she's either not being fed enough or has an underlying problem, which isn't a good start to life.

Not really cheeky but there’s a video appeared on my Facebook of a trainer starting a young mare in a round pen.
Horse doesn’t look overly stressed but is cantering round bucking. There’s a dog on the outside of the pen trying to herd the horse and the woman working the horse is chasing it around with a lunge line.
And my question is what is this achieving? Also all I can see is if the horse does turn and fly buck and catch her she’s dead, she’s not wearing a hat.

There was a local woman who was working a horse in a round pen. Once she’d finished the horse got down and rolled. She approached it and as it got up it turned, squealed and bucked. Kicked her in the sternum. Broken ribs and punctured lung.

Whereabouts in the country/world was this? As this sounds like someone I know!
