Cheeky/ridiculous posts you see on Facebook.

If I'm not mistaken, that is one of Samshield's selling points. As long as the exterior is intact, you can send the hat back for a full refurbish of the inside (used to be about £50, I think - I don't own a Samshield, but they're quite popular at the riding school)
Really?! That's quite a claim. I'll have to look into that.

Yup they do refurbish
That is pretty impressive. Personally I will stick to my eighty quid Charles Owen skull caps, but if you want something more stylish this seems like a really good idea.

I saw that gofund me for a new hat, for £150? They mention ODEs and XC clinics in the GF page, if they are doing this why can't they afford £150 for a new hat, why should other people pay for it?! Also mentions rider cannot do stuff without the new hat, but the hat she was wearing was a fixed peaked hat, so can't be used for XC - so she must have a skull cap too?! For some reason it really gripped my sh*t... Amongst many other things 🤣

I feel the same as you 😂 Just fully rubbed me the wrong way. And surely if you are that worried your horse has something wrong with them, you wont be competing anytime soon so the skull cap will be fine for the time being 😂

It popped up on my FB and my first though was if you can't afford a new hat, how can you afford to keep a horse and enter competitions. Second thought was how will you fund any unexpected vets bills?

So on the one hand obviously don’t want the poor woman to end up back in hospital or have a mental health crisis but also, just take it down if you don’t need the money.

It was a nasty fall but it seems she was pretty lucky, broken nose and concussion, bit weird the docs pounding on her chest when she collapsed outside the ward but it sounds exciting

She has more than one spare as she gets her Charles Owen ayr8 tag in on her socials too.
