'has had driving harness on but not been in the shafts'
Make of that what you will!

Ah to be fair, I used to do that with the little moor ponies at work. I can drive, very very basically, but definitely not confident enough to hitch up and drive away a baby. But I can harness up and used to get them wearing a full set and walking around in it.

It’s not too much different to having been saddled and mouthed but not sat on.

And sometimes if you haven’t got the right size cart, it’s not worth the expense of buying one just for breaking. You can tweak harness around a bit but carts are pretty fixed.

AT A COMPLETE LOSS 😭
MY 9 Month old foal has been a complete delight, super handled and doesn’t go out on any boggy fields or mud.
She normally lives in but have had to leave out in the TO pen for safety….
Really difficult to watch her suffering and vets are at a complete boggle as to what it is 🤯
VIDEO IN THE COMMENTS BELOW
She has been wormed
Treated twice with Deosect
Had a bute trial to eliminate pain
Jabbed with Dextomax

Symptoms are
Turning to bite both flak area both sides
Kicking back
Lifting hinds
Nibbling other area’s of the body
Open sores from biting
Spinning around to get at the hind end
Any thoughts or advice please 🙏🏻 🙏🏻
Ver is now suggesting potential colt mutilation type symptoms
P.S my vets are brilliant and I’m 100% behind them

Not one vet has considered the fact that the horse is insane because it has never been allowed outside in its whole entire life?! The mind boggles. Horrific (the videos are very distressing to view)

Dealer selling a Spanish horse.

Only pictures, no videos of movement. Which is probably just as well because apart from it having a very pretty head, the rest of it is a car crash.

Low five figures. Which could be at best (?!) 10,000 but who knows.

One this morning on a local fb page 😢

8 year old 'colt' FREE
Not coltish in behaviour. 13.2hh - needs to go by the beginning of next week.

With a photo of a piebald cob type

I've just gone back to check and the advert has been taken down so he's either found a home or the admin have removed. Hope he ends up somewhere nicce with a kind new owner 🤞

This advert is still circulating, now high four figures and owners open to a payment plan …

Just reported a post on FB.

Well known dodgy dealer trying to auction off a horse he's taken in part exchange. Says horse has not been ridden while with him. No returns etc etc.

Starting price £750.

I've just seen an advert for a foal on facebook. It's so badly written, I'm not entirely sure if it's one or several foals for sale. Very little in the way of actual useful information like the foal's age, breed, sire, dam. We do know it's a male, has had a headcollar on and they've never tried loading him. It's the pictures that really get me. A front picture of the foal from a strange angle, his whole face covered in flies. A picture of what I assume is the sire bucking in the field and a picture of mare and foal grazing, but the foal is on the other side of the mare!

anyone after a plod 14.2 cob gelding

Chester
Very low 4s

The horse is 30 :(

Now its things like this that make me wish I had 10 acres of good grazing, so I could pick up all these unfortunate oldies and give them a happy retirement. I've always said it's what I would do if I won the lottery
