Cheeky/ridiculous posts you see on Facebook.

Before he’s “spayed” . That’ll be a challenging op !
I know it's not horsey but I have no words FML .... This is peak irresponsible breeding. View attachment 157010
This gives me the same feeling as a dog I groom who was a 'rescue' Cavalier KCS. Assumed it had been spayed by current owner, but no its pregnant. I'm just hoping its not knocked up by a poodle/bichon type just to get top byb marks

Seen an advert looking for a sharer for a rising 4yo. Good with kids, good in traffic.

"We've just started the backing process, so looking for someone with experience of this."

Tbf I don’t think that’s too unreasonable. I like backing and playing about with baby horses and I’ve done it a lot. It wouldn’t stop me calling about about that one.

Good in traffic could mean it’s been walked out / long reined a lot so you’ve got some groundwork to build on.

I’d rather ride away a four year old as a share than put up with a badly schooled 14 year old cob with a dead mouth which seems to be mostly what’s available round here.

Not Facebook but seen on Horsequest - ref 364657.

Sold by a hireling yard, 13yo has soundness issues on the hard, needs medicating and remedial shoeing hence price £1,500 🙄

Horses don’t care about your size?! 🤬
I hate these posts. I’m fat. As such I have a big strong horse. I’m still working to get thinner, fitter and be better.

I loathe these posts because the whole “but they ride light” I can ride as light as a feather but I’m still 4 stone heavier then an 8 stone teenager. They could bobble round like a stone they still will not apply the same weight and force as me!!

FB post.
A breeder/dealer/stud has put a picture and telephone number up of a person who didn’t turn up to view a horse.
Annoying for sure and rude but no need to put their personal details on the internet.
Think I saw this they put up most of the number but not all no?

Not on Facebook but this has made me so sad. Poor boy has given his best years and is being cast aside for a younger model no doubt. He looks so lovely too.

Gosh this gives me absolute rage! I have no issue with selling something up to about 19 if they have a lot to give as a schoolmaster, but at that age for goodness sake just let him live out his life somewhere he feels safe and comfortable.

I brought Thomas to the UK from Ireland 14 years ago and he has been part of the family ever since.

And now they want to sell him??
Poor old boy, he looks such a sweet chap

Ads like this are why I sort of don't want to keep searching in the veteran horses department. It's just so sad seeing how many ads there are like this!

I saw one the other week, just under £10k for a 20yo that wouldn't pass vet (ad said no flexions to be done).
