Cheltenham - can't say they haven't put any effort in!

They have put in a HUGE amount of effort but the time, money and man power will be worth it when the greatest racing specticle of the year goes ahead!

You'd be surprised at how few horses spook at anything during their races. It's more when you get one lonely so and so out the front who isn't focusing on it's job and the jockey isn't paying overly much attention to things around them that things get amusing :D

Bring on the racing!

ETA - having just watched the video and seen the covers going up and over the jumps - that may cause a few distractions!

Sat watching the ATR preview now. I cannot wait :D went to oliver sherwood's yard a few weeks ago and saw puffin billy and rouge et blanc in the field (which was fabulous to see!!!) And I can honestly say the entire sherwood team where the most honest, down to earth welcoming people I was very impressed. Oliver sherwoods eyes just lit up when speaking about Puffin Billy and about his other horses, I could tell he cared so so much for them. Praying he gets a good day and all his horses do well and get round safe and sound for him (and others of course) he really deserves it, his attitude was very impressive
 
We have 2 runners tomorrow and as much as I love my Arkle horse - Tap Night - I can't quite see him getting past Simonsig and Overturn. But it's racing and anything can happen!

Let's hope all your horses get round safe and sound EKW, good luck!!! I am very jealous, I wish my yard had horses good enough to run at the festival!!

I do think unless something is wrong with Simonsig he will win. I remember him on his chase debut, just pinged the whole way round ears pricked the whole time. Stunning. However, anything can happen and nothing is certain!
 
It doesn't feel like a year ago that we were wishing you luck EKW, but I hope you have a fab festival and that all your runners come home safe :)
 
Can't wait to sit down for an ENTIRE afternoon and gawp at the telly - for four days!

Come on Overturn! He's gotta be the coolest horse in training!

Fingers crossed for your horse EKW! We've got one in the last, he'd have a small e/w squeak too. :)

I have spent far too much time looking at Paddy Power over the last few weeks, a few bets here and there, makes it all very exciting :)
