You could go to your local cobbler and have it sorted, I think, although I am not quite sure what you are talking about, so just a guess.

I had the same problem, the fixing is called a chicago screw, and I have just ordered an assorted pack of 20 from trekkerswestern.co.uk, I hope it has one that fits
