Did something happen in the last race?
Saw a screen in the distance behind HS when he was walking in, just as he came off the the sand bit by the course?
Didnt see anything that looked bad

Would have expected it to be picked up by the vets in the parade ring or if it was down the start by somebody there. Might be worth a look at the stewards reports again later. Definitely see reports about such things.

It was a grey, and looked as if it was wearing very bright red lipstick over its whole lower lip. The horse next to it had blood in the nostril too.

Pre race, someone was trying to wipe it before the start . He had probably bitten his tongue but not a good look as far as welfare is concerned and without a vet checking him it could have been more serious

The one I saw was a bay with white blaze, he was the outsider and finished last

I knew a French race horse called Piscine ( swimming pool) !
