I have always been on Team Edwarstone but by heck there's something special about watching a Gary Moore 2 miler take on those fences! He was just phenomenal! Even without his mistake Energumene was beaten.

Was yelling at him to hold on. Nothing against the others but super front running performance. Energumene looked like he was cruising about three out

Yup. Hell of a ride from Niall. Obviously I'm disappointed - for 3/4 of the race it looked like Energumene had it sewn up, and I thought Edwardstone was sketchy early on. The winner was superb.

Energumene certainly looked ready to pick them of coming up the home straight for most of rhe race but just before his blunder, to me, he looked booked for 3rd. Edwardstone was getting very low over quite a few of the fences. He jumped the last few better than the first half of the race. But that's the name of the game. You have to jump to win and EDG most certainly did that!
