Odds on CH were awful, i've put 10p on the 100/1 and 50/1Is CH going to power to victory?
I'd love to see a camera on Nicky's face. I'm sure there was one
Or was his handicap mark being protected today ? stewards did question his running.I do wonder about Iroko. When I saw him win his novice chase at Warwick I thought he was the next big thing. I know he's had injuries, but he never seems to have fulfilled the promise seen in that run. It may be that he's just massively gone out in trip, which is why they're talking about the National for him. Who knows?
They looked into Delta Work's run as well."Cheltenham stewards enquired into running/riding of Iroko. Jonjo O’Neill Jnr said he’d lost confidence jumping after his fall at Ascot; been schooling him. I find how nervous and novice riders look after their horses unacceptableI find how horses are treated in the race industry unacceptable
He did look great didn’t he! I was so relieved. I started the thread about him a couple of weeks ago but this was a great run, and hopefully they’ll pick something appropriate for his next run to try and follow it up.I haven’t watched the racing yet, except for Stage Star. Everyone out shooting was sworn to silence so I didn’t see the result. I was so excited, gutted to be beaten. My boy looked great (and yar boo sucks to the doomsayers!).
