Well I am a very proud owner writing this report.

My very green 5yo went and did his second BE90 today (his first one being last Thursday at Upton). Not me on board, but a superb lady who has stepped in very late notice, today was the third time she has sat on him!

So the weather held for our dressage and he produced a nice test, better than Upton and I guessed around 35 mark, was very pleased to see a 28 appear under his name!!! A generous judge for our section but I won't complain

SJ - we were the 8th section of the day and a lot of heavy rain = quagmire warm up and not much better arena. Plus what I thought was a pretty up to height course. Pony wasn't convinced he saw the merit in jumping out of this type of ground but a cracking ride by the jockey got him round clear

XC - rider and I discussed whether to W/D or not, decided to start as the first few fences were tiny and the agreement was if he felt like he wasn't coping then he would be retired. Well he popped sweetly round for a clear and a few time.

So can't complain for a 28 and double clear

Unfortunately he had to go HC so no rossies for us.
