Chepest towing vehicle??

Just thinking. I will need some kind of vehicle to tow with over the coming months, unfortunately I do not have pots of cash to spend on a new shiney 4x4.

I have a large old Rice trailer, which hasn't got a plate on, and a horse that weighs about 550 kg.

What licence B only or B+E ?

What terrain does it need to tow on ?

I have B+E, no way would my trailer do just B! Currently just aiming towards dressage competitions and places with smooth car parks!

In that case how about a cheapish Ford Mondeo or similar

I have an X reg Citroen Xantia which tows my single Ifor Williams like there's nothing there.

Trailer = 1000 kgs max ???
Horse = 600 max

Mondeo towing capacity = 1800 kgs

Perhaps need to get the trailer over the local weighbridge

I tow with a Mondeo and its fab..........just the one horse and I never have a problem 55 Plate £1500 and 50 mpg..........towing isn't much less!!
