Hi i am so happy this evening..i live in merseyside and i have been using 2 local vets for the last 14 months to treat various horses that i own.

Anyway, i have found both practices to be inconsistant and quite rude sometimes, and not very forward thinking with the horses.

Today i had Ashbrook out to look at my mare, ( i had a reccomendation from a lady who used them last week) they are quite a way from me so the call out was a tad more but what a fanstasic vet they sent out. She was patient, very friendly and was kind and considerate to my mare.

They gave me more than one option how they could treat the mare, and if she does go into the hospital for further investigation, i feel she would be really safe with them and would receive the best care possible.

So a big thanks to Ashbrooks

I'm in Derbyshire and have had this problem for a long time. Now myself and a LOT of others use Agnew Equine from Staffordshire. Call out is more, but what brilliant vets, sensible, very knowledgable and trust them implicitly.
Glad you've got fixed up, there is nothing worse than not trusting your vet.

Ashbrook are very good and not far from me. I have a good equine vet just up the road from me and then we have Leahurst just 20 minutes away. Pick of a good bunch i'd say.

I live in Runcorn Cheshire and use Burgess and Graham who are based in Norley/ Kingsley area. They are brilliant, not pushy, helpful and knowlegable. They have thier own equine clinic in Norley by Delamere and i recently got my colt gelded there.

I also use agnew eqiune they are good, but agree call out is expensive. My friend is a vet student and she has heard horror stories about them tho, altho i gues every practice makes mistakes. its not making me change my vets anyway
