It is so hard to tell with foals! Some foals are born bay with black points and turn grey! You just never know till fully matured but really wanted to do a poll also :) she is loved endless amounts. never the less

"Some" foals meaning not every foal is "]destined" to be grey, there are 29+ other colours. I didn't state foals are born grey

So pretty, have no idea but she is lovely. My foal was born the same colour as the underneath of a mushroom, almost pinky. Vet insisted she would either be grey or liver chestnut. Both parents bay and she turned out as black as a horse can get.

My friend's foal was also born a mushroom colour and is now black.
