Chestnut Roan / Red Roan / Strawberry Roan.

Just seen an advert for a lovely little horse advertised as Chestnut Roan. Just thinking, what's the difference between the three 'variants of description', if indeed there is a difference??

I think it's the same just different people call it different things. I have the loveliest ISH strawberry roan. Handsome and sweet.

I think strawberry roan is more commonally called chestnut roan these days. Red roan are bay roans.

At one time I had 2 chestnut roans and 2 bay roans. ?
