Can't decide... anyone help please?! I don't mean light brown, or tan, it would be chocolate dark brown or black... I ride in Navy Jacket and hat, with either black or chocolate brown boots... opinions please?
I have black on my Chestnut. He is an orange chestnut but with a darker liver chestnut mane and tail.. I used to have brown but I prefer black on him. One thing with brown as I used dark brown on my last horse is that it is hard to match different brands as the brown will always be slightly different. E.g matching bridle colour, martingale colour, saddle colour, stirrup leather colour ect. For example my bridle was a slightly lighter brown than my saddle.
Black is black at the end of the day so it is much easier to match .
2 pennies worth.
Black for mine they were very tango orange.
Depends on what you are doing as well. For showing black tack is a bit of a no go to some.
Firewell is right browns are hard to match & that seems to stand out more on a chestnut.
Havana brown, dark or light tan, chocolate....what ever variation of brown you like but please please not black on a chestnut, i personally don't like it despite doing myself, it looks so tacky.
