I currently have an Equitrek Trail Treka which one of my horses is fine with, but my other horse really doesn’t like. I think he finds it claustrophobic being shut in. So, we’ve tried him in an Ifor 403 and he loads nicely and is more settled in it. But, I’ve been looking online at the Cheval Trailers and like the look of them. I’m interested in reviews on either the Touring One (single) or the Duomax (herringbone) trailers? Also, I’ve scoured the internet to see if anywhere hires out Cheval Trailers but can’t find anywhere that does. If anyone knows of a place that hires them that would be great.

I don't know anywhere that hires them but I have the touring one and really like it. I needed something lightweight for towing and only ever take one horse. 16.3 long ISH is very happy in there and it has room for me to easily tack up inside, I never tie up outside. I don't think it has external tie up points.... We don't go that far or do that much (Max once/twice a month no more than 1hr travel) but suits us well and horse is definitely happy in there nosing out of the windows.

Sorry don't know who hires them out but another good vote from me, I love mine, never had anyone struggle to load in it, it's very open! Just about to head out in it just now!

I love mine, only problem I've come across is the top door on front ramp doesn't secure very well, wind can catch it! Jockey door is the same, but I live on the west coast of Ireland, renowned for our winds!

Dad was a welder/fabricator/engineer and he made and fixed many trailers in his day. The horsebox he fixed the most was a cheval.
